Fire Ants

Chances are if you live in Georgia, you have dealt with fire ants at one time or another. Fire ants are not only a nuisance, but they can potentially be life threatening for sensitive people due to their stings. At Grace Valley Pest Control, we only use the best products to help manage fire ants. Typical treatment involves the use of fire ant bait, or in some cases drenching the mound with an insecticide. We’ll conduct a thorough initial inspection prior to treatment, making sure we identify areas of fire ant activity.

Fire ant facts

It can take six months before you see their mounds in your lawn.
They are very aggressive and will readily sting anyone disturbing their mounds.
Stings result in red itchy bumps which can be life threatening for those who are susceptible to anaphylactic shock.
They can enter indoors while searching for food, making their control all the more important.
